Seared Scallop Recipe - Cooking Sea Scallops
A tasty Sea Scallops Recipe is perfect for a summer meal.
Flavored as you prefer with garlic, shallots, butter, and bread crumbs. Grill, sautee or broil for fabulous flavor.

Baked Sea Scallops
- 16 sea scallops, rinsed and drained
- 4 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 cup bread crumbs
- 5 tablespoons butter, melted
- 5 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 shallots, chopped
- 3 pinches ground nutmeg
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley
- salt and pepper to taste
Preheat oven to 425 degrees F
Melt the butter. Mix in garlic, shallots, nutmeg and salt and pepper. Add scallops. Stir gently to coat scallops.
In a separate bowl, combine bread crumbs and olive oil. Sprinkle on top of scallops.
Bake until crumbs are brown and scallops are opaque, about 12 minutes. Garnish with parsley and lemon wedges on the side.
