The Sea Witch offers unique sailing adventures in the waters around Martha's Vineyard. Captain John Stephenson and chef and hostess Susan Stephenson provide the ultimate tour of Martha's Vineyard from the water. You can choose to sit back and relax or learn to assist with handling the sails and navigating.
Go swimming, fishing or kayaking or simply soak up the sun on deck. The main deck has plenty of room for 2-6 people and there's a large dining area near the helm.
The Sea Witch is a 58 ft Pearson Ketch Cutter with a 37 ton weight and a deep keel resulting in a comfortable sail. Other options for entertainment onboard include card games, a 32 inch TV, a large selection of movies, Sirius Radio, and a reclining massage chair. There's also a 2-person hammock for siestas in the sun.
Many of the typical kitchen conveniences are also onboard in the galley. These include a coffee maker, microwave, stove, refrigerator and soda machine.
There are three staterooms on the Sea Witch. A queen size bed and a large overhead hatch are in the forward cabin. There are two twin bunks in the mid ship cabin. The spacious aft cabin has a queen bed, a walk-in shower and three port windows along with the overhead hatch.
Captain John has over 25 years of sailing experience and is certified in CPR and First Aid. Susan brings her cooking knowledge from owning a Mexican restaurant in Wellesley, MA for more than 5 years and creates seafood and steak dishes as well as vegetarian. Tulang is the Sea Witch's mascot, a 15 year old Singapora cat that loves attention and has low dander.
Some of the unique services offered onboard the Sea Witch include weddings at sea, training, funerals at sea, fishing and kayaking. Gift certificates are also available for services.
