We think one of the romantic "gems" in the New England area is Martha's Vineyard.

The Vineyard is unique because it is an island and you really get a different feeling while being there. We always feel a strong sense of "getting away" during our visits.

In addition to it's great atmosphere and "feel", the Vineyard has beautiful beaches, tremendous scenery, charming towns and villages, fabulous seafood, a large art community, and so much more.

Many folks choose to spend a week on the island and others simply visit for a day-trip from Cape Cod.

Romantic Vacation Spots on Martha's Vineyard

In my opinion, Edgartown, Menemsha and Chappaquiddick are the romantic areas on the Vineyard. Vineyard Haven is nice but has the feel of a "working town" and Oak Bluffs is a bit too much of a tourist and family attraction to be romantic.
