The Jaws shark, Bruce, injected fear into millions in the classic Jaws movie filmed on Martha's Vineyard in 1975. Recently, the original mechanical shark was found in a Los Angeles junkyard !

The metal shark is 25-feet long and weighs hundreds of pounds. The head itself weighs 400 lbs., with jaws the size of a small human.

Apparently, there were 4 "brothers" in the Bruce the shark family and although the first 3 seem to have been destroyed, the last one made was found recently at a junkyard in the Sun Valley area of Southern California

This may be good timing as there has been talk of a possible 3-d Jaws movie and this resurrected Bruce could become a star once again...
