Alpaca farms can be a great place to spend an afternoon. The Island Alpaca Company has over 50 alpaca and is a nice break from the beaches or shops in Edgartown, Oak Bluffs and Vineyard Haven.
The farm offers a walking tour, a store with hats, gloves, mittens, slippers, scarves, jackets, socks, coats, alpaca yarn, a full line of Louet spinning wheels, and knitting and spinning classes.
The colors of the alpaca are truly impressive, ranging from white to tan to midnight black.
